A R&D-department is looking for fast way to get odour/smell from hotel-rooms, restaurants, rental apartments, conference rooms etc. The time range for the turnover of a room should be made as short as possible, which makes the process of removing some of the indoor odours very important. Some types of odour, from smoking or cooking, for example, can linger for long periods of time, even after replacing the furnishings. To get truly rid of the unpleasant odours, customers currently need to ventilate the apartment for a few days to ensure complete removal of these smells before the new users can use the facility. The R&D-team is on the outlook for solutions for odour control, to help prevent undesired smells in an enclosed indoor environment to linger for a prolonged period of time. This scouting project will focus on techniques that potentially assist in the removal of indoor odours, preferably within a short period of time.
