Finding technologies is what IGOR^AI was originally built for. With the functional search engine we can find all the technologies that perform a specific function. As IGOR^AI understands the relationship between a verb and a noun that together describe this function, e.g. ‘detect virus". This "funtional searching" allows us to find results from various fields that fulfill this function.

Processes for manufacturing products or transforming materials ​contain technologies with a specific function. We can perform scouting projects to find all relevantprocesses for turning A into B for your R&D-challenge.

The Netherlands produces a great variety of heterogenic biobased waste streams (biomass) without creating value out of these streams. Besides being diverse and heterogenic, biomass often contains a large amount of water. The high water content makes transportation of biomass both from an economic and sustainable point of view unattractive. This project provides an overview of dewatering technologies for all sorts of biomass varieties. 44 technologies were listed, of which 11 were deepened.

How does a Processes ​case work?

During the intake meeting, we discuss the case and the focus for your scouting project.

After the intake meeting the Findest scout will do a first line of searching in IGOR^AI to list as many suppliers that are in scope as possible.

From an early stage, we integrate your feedback as an expert to IGOR^AI to built the most relevant supplier list. In a midway meeting we discuss if the scope of suppliers is complete and adjust it accordingly to enlarge or narrow down the results list.

This second scouting phase will consist of elaborating the information of the sensor approaches and summarise this in a table. A summary of the selected sensing techniques is provided in a table containing three important aspects of your choice. Additionally, the platform outlines other specifications, TRL and suppliers of the sensors.

Findest's goal is to provide you an overview of suppliers, that allow you to take an informed decision on the next steps in your project. On the IGOR^AI platform you can rapidly select, evaluate and share the results with the whole team.
